OUR STORY
We’re a local Colorado company, but our roots and our values date back to 1938 when our current president John Muldoon’s grandfather, Rex York, started his electrical contracting and home building business in Groveton, New Hampshire. John recalls helping his grandfather while spending summers with his grandparents.
“Grampa was a great guy but, man, he was a hard taskmaster. He didn’t care one bit that I was just a kid. Everything had to be done just right or don’t bother. It was a matter of pride for him, and he drilled that into me. I remember him saying, These customers are my neighbors, and I have to do right by them if I want to keep my good name and stay in business.
“Grampa really embodied the old-school commitment to Honesty, Quality, and Reliability, and those lessons always stuck with me.”
John got engaged to his wife, Jennifer while visiting his grandparents in Groveton. When he decided to pick up where his grandfather left off and continue building the family contracting business in Colorado, John looked for a way to tie past, present, and future together so that his grandfather’s lessons and values would be remembered and would serve as guideposts the company could follow to ensure it remained on the path to long-term success even after he handed the leadership over to future generations.

John Muldoon
President
John Muldoon has over 30 years of experience in corporate business development, technology start-ups, and entrepreneurial ventures. He started Groveton as a tribute to his grandfather, who was a contractor. He lives in Superior with his wife and two kids.

Project Coordinator
Kevin is a proud husband and father – family drives his success. When he’s not working for spending time with his wife and son, you might find him on the golf course. Fore!

Marketing Intern
Originally from New York City, Max is attending CU Boulder. He helps out where he can – everything from sales to marketing.
Rachel Stanton
Operations / Office Manager
As our Operations Manager, Rachel is responsible for our daily operations and keeps everything running like clockwork. Rachel is married with three sons, three dogs, and three cats.
Colt Freese
Field Inspector
Colt got his feet wet in roofing while in high school, working on roof replacement crews as a summer job. An Iowa native, Colt now lives in Denver.

David grew up in Boulder and now lives in Denver with his two kids, Maxwell and Olivia. With a background in sales and customer service, he looks forward to helping you with your roofing needs.
